What is a Holter test?
A Holter test is a portable ECG that records your heart’s electrical activity continuously for 24–72 hours while you go about normal life. It helps detect rhythm problems that a brief clinic ECG can miss.
When is it recommended?
- Unexplained palpitations or a “racing” heartbeat
- Dizziness, blackouts, or near-fainting episodes
- Irregular heartbeat noted on a routine ECG or smartwatch
- Post-procedure rhythm follow-up (e.g., after ablation)
- To assess therapy effectiveness for arrhythmias
How it works (home visit)
- Device placement at your home in Guntur/Vijayawada/Ongole
- 24–72 hr recording
- Device pickup & clinician-reviewed report
